SteamID is a unique identifier for your Steam account. It may be required for connecting to game servers, configuring plugins, contacting support, or integrating with third-party services. In this article, you’ll learn how to quickly and securely find your SteamID.
Via Browser (Steam Community)
- Open your Steam profile:
- Go to the Steam Community and log in.
- Click on your avatar or name in the top-right corner to access your profile.
- Locate your SteamID in the URL:
- If the address bar displays a link like:
https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/7656119XXXXXX- The numbers after
/profiles/are your SteamID64 (a 17-digit code). - If the URL appears as
https://steamcommunity.com/id/YourNickname, this means you have a custom URL configured. In this case: - Go to Edit Profile → General tab.
- Scroll down to the Personal Link section.
- If a custom URL is specified, simply delete it to display your numeric SteamID64.
Using Third-Party Services
If the above methods don’t work, use trusted websites:
- Visit steamid.io or steamidfinder.com.
- Enter your profile link or nickname.
- The service will automatically detect your SteamID, SteamID3, and SteamID64.
